Not only his looks but his mannerism and speech also reflect his stylish elegance. For his frank and honest answers, I would give him 8 out of 10 and a bonus mark for being so candid, that too, while driving! (An Interview with Preeti Hoon)

What is your USP?Just the way I am, it is my USP. I like to be myself and I don’t pretend. For instance, I don’t dress up for occasions, I am what I am.

(On that note I am keen to know his choice for occasions like weddings.)

Who is your idol?

Yuvraj Singh. He’s pretty stylish and the way he carries himself on and off the field is really impressive.

(But you definitely speak better than him.)

What is your definition of IPL?

It’s has been a great experience for me and is amazing entertainment for people who watch it.

(Okay. Let’s move to the next question.)

What about cheerleaders?

It’s an addition to the entertainment factor, and seriously, I don’t have the time to even look at them. It’s just good for the spectators.

(Your emphasis on ‘seriously’ made me doubt it all the more.)

Your dream Bollywood role?

It has to be Ranbir Kapoor’s role in Bachna Ae Hasseno.

(Perfect!)

Whom do you fantasize as your ‘date babe’?

Undoubtedly, Katrina Kaif. She’s gorgeous!

(Or is it because she’s Royal Challenger’s brand ambassador?)

One warning you would want to give to your opposition?

Don’t sledge me, If I get angry, you are in deep trouble dude!

(He’s already in trouble with you batting opposite him.)

If you were not playing for India, which country would you like to play for?

Though I don’t really like any other country but I think South Africa is one team I could think of playing for.

One embarrassing moment that you wish didn’t happen?

During my school days, I was doing a play and my costume fell on the stage. I really wish it didn’t happen.

(Sorry Virat, but I just couldn’t stop laughing on that one.)

Anything you would like to change about yourself?

My short-tempered nature and I want to be more patient.

(But before you change we really want an on-field example for it.)

What if you are made the president of the BCCI? What changes would you bring to Indian cricket?

I will arrange all the camps in Bangalore because I have loads of friends there to have good time with.

(Smart answer! Nicely fielded.)

If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?

I would spend the entire day in a girl’s room. I want to see what exactly they do.

(Is that all?)

What would be the three flavors of ice-cream that you’d like to gift to the three special people in your life, and why?

I will give strawberry flavor to my mother for being exceptionally sweet, vanilla to my sister because of her peaceful nature and butterscotch to my ex-girlfriend.

(Virat, we always prefer names when it comes to talking about partners.)

If left alone on a deserted island, what would be the three things you’d like to have with you, and why?

Model Jessica Alba, Barbeque and beer!

(Well, I just meant things but good, I didn’t ask what you’d do with them.)

Your most memorable moment?

I scored a hundred against Australia in a side-game recently, I cannot forget that moment.

(I am still not over ‘things’.)

Define yourself in one word.

Handsome.

(Honesty at its best!)
