The 21 Gun Salute International Vintage Car Rally & Concours d’Elegance, in association with Government of India, Ministry of Tourism, marked its beginning by keeping up with the tradition of an ostentatious flag off at the majestic India Gate.
I was privileged to be a part of this grand ceremony and had the rare opportunity to be co-passenger in one of the vintage cars entered by Navinder Singh, Classic Cars Collector from New Delhi. It was an absolute pleasure to be driven by him.
Caravan of 150+ International & National Vintage Cars along with 35 Vintage Bikes Starting from India Gate, the rally followed the route followed Inner Circle Road, proceeded from Raj Path and continued to move on Baba Kharak Singh Marg following Mother Teresa Crescent Road, then on Sardar Patel Marg, Dhaula Kuan Fly Over, further the rally moved on NH-8, following the Hero Honda Chowk flyover. It continued straight for Toll Plaza and reached the destination Karma Lake Lands, Golf Course, Gurugram.
