By International flying can be tiring at times and a private space at the airport can help in calming down the pressure. Airport lounges are the only go-to spaces in a situation where you need privacy, comfort and cut off the flying anxiety for a while.
I was flying to Sri Lanka last year and chose to spend some time at the Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 3 Departure, Indira Gandhi International Airport and I can tell you it can play a perfect partner when you’re travelling alone and need some me-time before the take-off.
Before I settled, I was a given a walkthrough by the courteous staff.
I entered PPL to a long lounge that had sufficient amount of comfortable seating for travellers and didn’t look to be congested. The seating area was well equipped with personal sockets and had ample leg space.
The lounge is followed by the dining section where extensive buffets are served.

I was here at a time of South Asian Food Festival but couldn’t get my hands on it as I had limited time to spend.
However, I specifically liked Plaza Premium Lounge for its segregated spaces and privacy that it provides through private resting suites.
The private conference rooms have been created keeping in mind the business needs of travelers while there is also a shower and spa section for those who lay over for hours before flying off again.
There are top-notch work stations with 24X7 wifi facility, an unmissable service for someone who can’t resist technology.
The fact that Plaza Premium Lounge recently received the ‘Best Airport Lounge Asia’ award at the Global Star Awards 2018 is also a testimony to my short and sweet experience of comfort and me-time.
