By Bollywood’s new-age musical sensation Amaal Malik, composer of hits such as Kar Gyi Chull (Kapoor & Sons) and Aashiq Surrender Hua (Badrinath ki Dulhania) is happy to have made it to his first IIFA Awards this year. However, his happiness also extends to something nobody can guess – the decision to keep beard.
That’s right! The secret behind the unshaven look is his brother, singer Armaan Malik.
The young musical duo often have people confuse their identities with each other and now, Amaal thinks his fans will be able to make out the clear difference.
Speaking to GW at Nexa IIFA Awards Styled by Myntra Green Carpet, Amaal shares how proud he feels for his brother to have made big in Bollywood at a young age, expresses love and respect for his mother without whom he wouldn’t have made it this far in life and wants his ‘special someone’ to be as “crazy and confident” as his mother.
