Popularly, Kashmiri Cuisine is known for its non-vegetarian dishes but I tried Vegetarian preparations and they were sumptuous. Paneer Chaman (pronounced as Shaman), Dum Aloo, Dal Tadka were damn good.
Chef Latif specializes in Kashmiri cuisine and has been flown in to work on restaurant’s concept of serving real flavours of Kashmir.

“I am born and brought up in Kashmir. Even since I took charge of my life, I wanted to take Kashmiri products global. When this opportunity came I thought why not introduce Kashmiri Wazwan as a fine dining product in Delhi NCR. There is lot of Wazwan available in the area but I wanted to personalize the eating experience of Wazwan as a gourmet delicacy”, says Chattoo.

Unlike most of the pubs and restaurants with multi-cuisine menu proposition in Delhi NCR, Junoon has laid its focus on one cuisine – Kashmiri and has vowed to serve its customers with authentic flavours from the valley that majorly boasts of mouth-watering non-vegetarian preparations.
Usually, a Kashmiri feast is an arrangement of some exceptional non-vegetarian delicacies and the use of best spice mixes, meats and the finest of recipes make up for a menu straight from the food heavens.
‘Wazwan’, a multi-course Kashmiri meal, is quite an indulgence. Kashmiri food is one of the only cuisines which uses saffron extensively in almost all of its preparations.
