By Runners from all walks of life in purple will soon take over the Gurugram city as Millennium City Marathon (MCM) announces its arrival along with Apollo Tyres as title partner this year and will be open for tourists, runners and locals for participation.
Fitness is the flavour that is here to stay and nothing gets better when it is spread by the believers and achievers in the fields of running. MCM is conceptualized by Abhishek Mishra, who is himself an Ultraman & Ironman Triathlete and leads his outfit Tabono Sports & Events Pvt Ltd with a vision to spread the fitness virus across all age-groups of the society.
“The Millennium City Marathon is hosted to promote running, which is the simplest way of keeping fit and therefore, should be adopted as a lifestyle. The event’s bigger goal is to engage people in community sports and form communities, which share a sense of comradeship through running”, Abhishek Mishra, CEO, Tabono Sports & Events Pvt Ltd. shared.
In the 2019 edition, Tabono is also partnering with Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) to promote water conservation.
While, Milind Soman has extended his support to MCM as the brand ambassador and will be the star face to watch out for.
“Running is the best form of fitness and I couldn’t be happier to join Gurgaon’s biggest running event. I am looking forward to an excellent association with the event and hope that more and more people join the fitness bandwagon”, Soman said.

The fifth edition of MCM will take place on December 1, 2019 in Gurugram, Haryana. In a first, the Apollo Tyres Millennium City Marathon will host a kids’ run category. The 5km timed race will be open for children aged 12 years and above. The registrations will be open on MCM official website until November 15, 2019.
