In an exclusive candid chat, Anita shares about turning the tables on joining Patanjali Ayurved Ltd as she served the brand once upon a time in her agency role, her first meeting with Founder Swami Ramdev and Chairman Acharya Balakrishna before joining and how their energies are super infectious, how it feels to report into a yoga guru boss for the first time as she has always had corporate bosses.
She also touched upon digital media and its massive growth and how it may take over TV, Print in next five years. However, she insists TV and Print will stay in their own unique roles.
We also discussed about women at helm and how difficult or easy it is for women to take a stand in the corporate world. “Ab toh bacha ho gya tumhara chhuti le lo, ab kya kaam karogi…” (now you have given birth to a child, you won’t be able to work) were the words to her by a male boss 21 years ago. Rest, as they say, is history:)
